Course Outline:
This course incorporates the KEY behavioural skills needed for Supervisory Management. It is a very practical workshop-style course for 1 day, the training focuses on assessing your management skills and knowledge from your experience.
During this course, we cover key elements of Management.
Principles of management & leadership.
- How an individual manager engages with themselves, their team(s), and direct superiors.
- Ability to motivate and delegate.
- Leading by example.
- Time management.
- Building trust and fostering a positive work culture.
In addition to the key elements of Management, Behavioural skills can help you develop professionally. Skills related to your behaviour and how you form relationships with people can be an important component of your personality at work.
We will cover some of the key skills and show you how to improve them, examine how you can use them in the workplace and provide tips on how to use them in your daily work life.
Self-awareness, or the ability to recognize and understand your own emotions, is a critical emotional intelligence skill. Beyond just recognizing your emotions, however, is being aware of the effect of your actions, moods, and emotions on other people.
